Jab We Wed, Inc ("JWW," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our Platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your data.
This Policy applies to all users of the JWW Platform — including couples, vendors, and visitors — across our website and any related applications or services. It covers users in the United States and Canada.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you provide when you register, submit a Lead inquiry, set up a vendor profile, or contact us:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Business name, address, and service details (vendors)
- Wedding date, event details, and budget range (couples)
- Payment method information (processed and stored securely by Stripe — JWW does not store raw card data)
- Profile photos, portfolio images, and other media you upload
- Messages and communications sent through the Platform
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Platform, we automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, time spent, and navigation patterns
- Referring URLs and search terms used to reach the Platform
- Cookie and tracking data as described in Section 5
1.3 Information from Third-Party Service Providers
We receive limited data from the third-party tools we use to operate the Platform:
- Stripe — transaction status and payment method validity
- Google Analytics — aggregated usage and behavior data
- HubSpot — vendor onboarding and communication history
- JustCall — vendor sales communication logs
2. How We Use Your Information
2.1 Platform Operations
- Creating and managing user accounts
- Delivering Lead inquiries to vendors
- Processing vendor payments and issuing receipts
- Facilitating communication between couples and vendors
- Enforcing our Terms of Service and platform policies
- Preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
2.2 Communications
- Sending transactional emails related to your account, Leads, and billing
- Sending JWW marketing emails including wedding planning content, vendor recommendations, and platform updates (couples and vendors who have opted in)
- Sending promotional offers and partner brand deals exclusively on behalf of JWW's brand partners — JWW sends these communications directly and does not transfer your contact information to partner brands
2.3 Platform Improvement
- Analyzing usage patterns to improve platform features and user experience
- Conducting internal research and analytics
- Monitoring Platform performance and diagnosing technical issues
2.4 Legal and Compliance
- Complying with applicable laws and regulations
- Responding to legal process, court orders, or government requests
- Protecting the rights, safety, and property of JWW and its users
3. How We Share Your Information
3.1 With Vendors You Select
When a couple submits a Lead inquiry, the couple's name, email, phone number, and event details are shared with the specific vendors selected in that inquiry. This sharing is limited to the vendors chosen by the couple at the time of submission.
3.2 With Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform. These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only to perform services on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. Current service providers include:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Google Analytics — usage analytics
- HubSpot — CRM and vendor communications
- JustCall — sales calling and messaging
3.3 Promotional Partner Communications
JWW does not sell your personal information to third parties. We may partner with brands to send you exclusive offers and promotions (e.g., discounts at bridal stores or wedding service providers) via email. In all cases, JWW sends these communications directly on behalf of the partner brand. Your contact information is never transferred to or accessed by the partner brand. You may opt out of these promotional emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.
3.4 Business Transfers
If JWW is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or bankruptcy proceeding, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or platform notice before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
3.5 Legal Obligations
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person, prevent fraud, or protect JWW's legal rights.
3.6 What We Never Do
- We never sell your personal information to data brokers or third-party marketers
- We never give partner brands direct access to your contact information
- We never share your payment details with vendors or any party other than Stripe
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for up to two (2) years following account closure
- Lead inquiry data is retained for up to three (3) years for billing, dispute, and audit purposes
- Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations
- Marketing opt-out records are retained indefinitely to honor your preferences
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting legal@jabwewed.com. Deletion requests will be processed within thirty (30) days, subject to any legal retention obligations.
5. Cookies and Tracking
JWW uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Platform. Cookies are small data files stored on your device.
5.1 Types of Cookies We Use
- Essential cookies — required for the Platform to function (authentication, session management)
- Analytics cookies — used by Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the Platform
- Preference cookies — used to remember your settings and preferences
5.2 Your Cookie Choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect Platform functionality. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
6. Your Privacy Rights
6.1 All Users
Regardless of location, all JWW users have the right to:
- Access the personal information JWW holds about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Opt out of marketing and promotional emails at any time via unsubscribe links
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
6.2 California Residents (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- The right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold
- The right to opt out of the sale of personal information — JWW does not sell personal information
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights

6.3 Canadian Residents (PIPEDA)
Canadian residents have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), including the right to access, correct, and withdraw consent for the use of your personal information. JWW collects only the information necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and does not use it for purposes beyond what is disclosed without obtaining fresh consent.

6.4 How to Exercise Your Rights
Submit all privacy requests to legal@jabwewed.com. We will respond within thirty (30) days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
7. Data Security
JWW implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and use of PCI-compliant payment processing via Stripe.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we take data security seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
The JWW Platform is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has submitted information to JWW, please contact legal@jabwewed.com immediately.
9. Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. JWW is not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
10. Updates to This Policy
Jab We Wed, Inc reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least fourteen (14) days before taking effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
